Featuring all that wows about our mountain town and helping visitors decide what neighborhood, community or even type of vacation rental they desire, we will try to answer all your questions before they are even asked!
Yotel Pad Adventures
Our Yotel Pad rooms, located in the heart of Canyon Village, are an invention in transformation, offering rooms that feature furnishings that serve multiple functions, including beds that morph into sofas and everything travelers need to feel refreshed. Choose from a Yotel Pad Studio that ranges in size from 338 to 427 square feet and be surprised at all the amenities that can be packed into the cozy space, without seeming cramped and crowded!
Our studios are sleek, modern, and offer sitting areas, a queen bed topped with comfy mattresses, and twin bunk beds that will make the kiddos happy! Also providing a fully equipped kitchen that even includes a dishwasher AND garbage disposal, guests are consistently surprised at the convenience and comforts found in the Yotel Pad Studio.
Summer travelers may enjoy the sweet sounds of our summer concert series, held on certain Thursday and Saturday nights and offering a variety of live performances. Taking place in Canyons Village, the concerts are free, starting at 6 PM and it is recommended that guests bring blankets or chairs with low backs for a more comfortable music experience. The Southwest is known for its authentic Mexican food and if you want to experience an authentic meal during your stay at the Yotel, the Loco Lizard Cantina, 1612 W Ute Boulevard, is famous for its tacos, burritos, and seafood specialties as well as their frothy and refreshing margaritas!
The Chateaux Lifestyle
Another unique Park City experience offered by Park City Hotels is the Chateaux which could best be described as not quite a hotel, not quite a condo, but a luxurious mix of both! Located in the Deer Valley region of Park City and featuring studio apartments, 1-, 2-, 3-, & 4-bedroom suites, and luxurious hotel rooms with king beds or double queens, every vacationer who chooses this option ends up feeling delighted with their choice. Their studios offer a great space filled with fully equipped kitchens, dining areas, living rooms, and of course, a premium bed topped with a comfortable deluxe mattress and silky soft linens. Also offering balconies with incredible views of the Park City landscape, these spaces are designed to comfort and spoil all who live within.
The bedroom suites, whether they are 1-, 2-, 3-, or 4-bedroom, they’re the Park City best places to stay, offering bright and airy rooms that contain all the comforts of home. Fireplaces keep guests warm as they add romance to the space, state-of-the-art televisions provide the ultimate in entertainment, and kitchens are impressive spaces with stone countertops, custom cabinetry, and stainless steel appliances; the gas ranges will bring a tear to the eye of every amateur chef. Bedrooms offer quiet places to retreat to at the end of every day and bathrooms are spacious and spa-like. Not every traveler needs all that space, nor do they want to cook making kitchens practically obsolete and the Chateaux’s hotel rooms offer the perfect solution. Offering a décor that comes straight from the French style ones in Europe, these rooms also feature fireplaces, amazing views, and your choice of either a king room or one containing two ultra-comfortable queen beds, all topped with the softest of linens. Gas fireplaces are also a feature of the hotel rooms at the Chateaux.
When not reveling in the luxuries of our Chateaux sanctuaries, there are plenty of adventures that can be enjoyed in the Deer Valley area. Obviously, the first and most popular activity in the winter is skiing and the Deer Valley Ski Resort, a ski only resort known for its meticulously groomed runs, its upscale amenities, and mountains that offer a variety of runs for skiers of all experience levels. Because they cap the number of tickets sold each day, the runs never feel packed and overcrowded and novice skiers will feel their confidence grow with each schuss down the mountain. With 103 runs, 20 lifts, and over 2000 acres of skiable terrain, patrons could ski all day and never hit the same run twice—unless they want to, of course!
Après ski at the Apres Lounge in Empire Village offers an elegant way to celebrate a day on the slopes, providing small plates and adult beverages to help warm skiers from the inside out. Travelers visiting in the non-snowy months may want to plan a fly fishing trip to the Provo River, located just 20 miles south of Park City. For first-time fly fishers, Trout Bum 2, 4343 N. Highway 224 Suite 101, offers guided trips to where the fish bite most and can help newbies learn the skill. Nearly everyone loves a good glass of wine, but what do we know about the wines themselves, other than they taste really good and make us feel warm inside? Fox School of Wine, located at 268 Main Street, offers wine classes, wine tastings, and a variety of events designed to increase “students” knowledge about the silky beverage.

More cabin décor and modern accents decorate the rooms of Park City Westgate which offers access to community amenities and Stein Eriksen Residences proudly feature suites filled with light and elegance combined with mountain décor and ski-in/ski-out lifestyle.
As you can see, our Park City best places to stay are located all over the Park City region, giving guests the vacation experiences they have dreamed about for so long. Visit during the Sundance Film Festival and play spot the celebrities with your favorite traveling partner as you dine at Riverhorse on Main, take part in the film festival activities, and watch the movies up for award. If your visit doesn’t take place during Sundance, there is still a chance that you will catch sight of some of your favorite superstars as Will Smith, Michael Jordan, and Katherine Heigl all have homes in town.
At the heart of it all, our mountain town is just a small village offering all-American celebrations for the holidays, including a fabulous fireworks display over Independence Day and featuring a festive cheer when the buildings, businesses, and neighborhoods are lit up with colorful lights and seasonal décor. 4th of July visitors may want to spend time hiking through the trees before settling down for the fireworks while winter holiday guests may want to participate in a sleigh ride that ends at a heated Viking Yurt, offering incredible views and delicious meals.
Private Vacation Homes
We believe that you can never have enough choices, and in addition to the Yotel Pad, the Chateaux, and all the hotels we offer our guests, we also offer a selection of private vacation homes designed to impress. Located all over the town, these impressive homes feature incredible views, spacious floor plans, and upgraded electronics, appliances, fixtures, and furnishings.
Choose a home in historic old town Park City and discover the benefits that accompany town life while you shop at exclusive boutiques, dine in fancy restaurants, and walk to the Park City Mountain Resort for a day of skiing and snow play. Offering mountain charms that include stone fireplaces and private hot tubs, it is easy to feel at home in our old townhomes. Fully equipped kitchens with custom cabinetry and Sub-Zero refrigerators or Wolf gas ranges help add joy to your cooking experience, and serene décor in bedrooms filled with premium beds (some with fireplaces in the master suite) and en suite baths with jetted tubs ensure that each night’s sleep will be the best night’s sleep. These homes in Old Town are close to some of the best restaurants, (Butcher’s Chop House & Bar) the most unique shops, (Cake Boutique) and tasty coffee and sweet shops as well, because everyone knows that vacation sweets offer no calories! (Java Cow Coffee and Ice Cream is popular year-round!)
Canyon Village is home to some of our modern escapes, offering as many as 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms and space for up to 16 guests to coexist in harmony. When traveling with large groups of people, having your own private space to retreat to is important, and our Canyon Village homes offer just that. Gather in large living rooms where giant sectionals provide room for just about everyone to sit together and watch super-sized televisions hanging over gas fireplaces. Share cooking duties in spacious fully equipped kitchens featuring marble backsplash and sleek and modern appliances and fixtures. And when night falls and the world has gotten too crowded, retreating to tranquil bedrooms in which cloud-soft beds, private fireplaces, and floor-to-ceiling windows frame incredible views promises to be the most excellent of choices. These homes all offer different décor and design styles, but the modern appeal of a slipper tub in the master baths, and the feel of rain shower heads pulsing down on bodies that still ache from some of your Park City escapades will make guests feel pampered and spoiled. Skiers will appreciate private ski storage rooms with benches that help remove boots after a long day on the slopes and private balconies overlooking the mountains of Park City will bring peace to the soul. The lifts go right by these homes, and ski-in/ski-out access eliminates having to spend a lot of time in transport.
Other winter activities in the Canyon Village area include snowmobile tours with Red Pine Adventures and the Winter Bobsled experience at nearby Utah Olympic Park. Not everyone is aware that Park City hosted many of the events in the 2002 Winter Olympics and the park stands as a tribute to all that took place that weird and wonderful year. Still being utilized as a training facility for today’s generation of Olympic hopefuls, the Winter Bobsled experience gives the rest of the world an opportunity to experience a minute portion of what Olympians experience at every winter Olympics. Open from the end of November until the beginning of April, participants must be at least 16 years old, weigh at least 100 pounds, and be in good physical health. This bobsled experience generates up four to five times the force of gravity, so pregnant women are definitely not allowed to ride. After a pre-ride orientation where riders learn the basics of the bobsled and selection of safety gear, riders will board the Winter Comet Bobsled and begin the ride of a lifetime. Offering a series of sharp curves, the bobsled reaches speeds of nearly 70 miles per hour, so even if the frosty experience reminds you of your summer fun at a water park, guests will soon realize this experience far exceeds a water park with its thrill factor.
If you have family members that don’t appreciate the thrill of chasing that dimpled white ball across the greens, shopping in Canyons Village is always a good idea! Lolë Park City at Canyons Village offers a beautiful selection of casual wear for women and men, including fitness gear, winter jackets, loungewear, hoodies, and cozy sweaters that are warm and cute, as well as accessories that will complete every outfit you wear. Snow Creek Shopping Center provides small shops and restaurants, and The Marketplace & Liquor Store will ensure that all Park City visitors stay warm and happy!
Looking for a classic pub experience during your stay in one of our Canyons Village sanctuaries? Drafts Burger Bar, 3000 Canyons Resort Drive, offers your favorite pub grub and up to 20 beers on tap. Copper tin-plated ceilings, a granite-topped bar, and multiple televisions hanging throughout the par give guests a place to go that feels like home and the burgers served here are thick, juicy, and flavorful! Also offering a breakfast menu filled with delicious morning starters including apple fritters, the DBB Two hands Hatch Chili Burrito, and skillets with fun names like the Hippie Brunch, (quinoa, roasted red peppers, spinach, black bean patty and Drafts Burger Bar famous tomatillo salsa) every bite will be one you remember no matter what meal you partake in at this local favorite!
Edge Steakhouse, also on Canyons Resort Drive, offers an upscale dining experience in cozy environs. A wine “cellar” behind glass features a wonderful array of just about every wine you can imagine, a full bar stocked with more favorite beverages, and white tableclothed tables on which the juiciest steaks are to be enjoyed. Celebrating a special anniversary, birthday, or other milestones. If you really want to impress your favorite traveling partner, the Edge 360 Dining Experience is the best way to do so! Two Alpenglobe Outdoor Dining Pods made of wood and glass allow diners to eat outside as the snow falls around them while staying warm and cozy. Resembling a greenhouse on a smaller scale, these pods offer a magical dining experience you won’t find anywhere else; or if you do, we can promise they won’t be as special! Space is limited and reservations must be made for seatings at 5:30, 6:00, 8:30, 9:00, and 10:00, and a reservation fee of $300 is required; it’s definitely a pricey meal, but we think it will be worth every penny you spend.
