The joy of a family vacation is one that cannot be appreciated enough, and as our 2024 bookings are live again, you may be considering a Park City family vacation that will set the precedent for all vacations that follow in this bright and shiny new year. Offering winter activities that might not be available in your own, more temperate home towns, and the welcoming charms of our Park City vacation homes, our houses become homes when your family resides within. This guide to your first vacation of the new year will make it hard for any following vacations to live up to its reputation, but that’s ok; having high aspirations is a good thing, and we are happy to provide the competition to any other vacations you take in 2024.

Sip and Savor
It can sometimes be difficult to know what to do in a place you have never visited before, but in Park City, there is always something exciting going on and you have Park City Hotels in your back pocket, your own personal guides to fun and excitement! The festivals and events offered by our mountain hometown are often sophisticated and exciting and even though by the time you are reading this the Sundance Film Festival will have concluded, there are more festivals to look forward to during your winter getaway. For example, Red, White, and Snow celebrate the waning days of the season, taking place March 7th through 9th in 2024, and paying homage to wine, food, and skiing. This year will be the 20th anniversary of this wonderful event and we expect it to be the best ever, offering a series of wining and dining events and a celebration of local restaurants, the chefs that create magic with ordinary ingredients, and the wineries that bring us the wines we love to sip. This event is destined to be a good one that may sell out soon, so be sure to snag tickets before you arrive or risk missing out on all the fun.
Exploring Main Street
Every small town has its Main Street, the one thoroughfare where neighbors run into each other as they shop, dine, and go about their daily chores, and Park City’s Main Street offers all that with a sophisticated twist. Known as the historic district, many of the buildings have been standing in their same spots since the days when we were known as a silver mining town, updated and modernized while maintaining their original style and charm. This is where you will find the coziest of boutiques (Panache, Cake, and Flight, just to name a few) the sleekest of art galleries (Park City Fine Art, Main Street Gallery) and the tastiest of restaurants. (Riverhorse on Main is the most well-known, but all are worth visiting) The Park City Museum is on Main Street, offering a peek into the history of our town and the Egyptian Theater is a historic example of the arts and culture lifestyle of our mountain town.
Welcome Home
Your days will be long and filled with exciting adventures, but it is your evenings that may play top billing in your vacation memories once you step back into real life and the home that is waiting for its purpose in life to return. Coming “home” every night of your stay, walking into spacious homes that may be a part of the original history of Park City or new spaces that were built to retain the flavor of the “village” will be the highlight of your days. Our Park City Hotels homes, scattered all over the Park City landscape will provide the most comfortable of adventures and we can’t wait to show you all that is in store for you.
Comfort Starts Here
When stepping inside for the first time, take particular notice of your shoulders, feeling them pull up as the stresses of real life drop to the floor like a discarded cloak and discovering that the tensions you carry there have disappeared as well. We would like to say that this is due to everything we have done, but some of that can only be claimed by the house itself. The echoes of past guests will be quiet ones, excited whispers, uncontrollable giggles, footsteps running up the stairs in homes that have stairs will only be heard if you listen carefully on your way into the first room of our tour of comfort, the living room with its eyes (windows) staring out onto the snow-covered landscape. This room, designed to be lived in will be furnished in a variety of styles, modern, rustic, whimsical, but the basic characteristics of comfort will be found in its sofas, chairs, and stone fireplaces, while modern conveniences will appear as state of the art televisions mounted above the mantels.
Open for Dinner and More
The dining rooms and kitchens of our family Park City vacation home rentals are open for dinner now and whether you choose to utilize the gourmet appliances in the heart of our homes or are just planning to store your beverages in the refrigerators and make coffee every morning, they still provide a place for guests to sit, chat, and unwind. The dining rooms, often open to the kitchen and living rooms, will be where meals are devoured, games are played, and that cup of coffee you fixed earlier in the day? This is where it will be sipped quietly in the early morning hours as you wait for the rest of the family to slowly come awake, also appreciating the quiet beauty that may be visible through the windows of the room.
Sleep Well
Perhaps it will be our bedrooms that will bring our guests the happiest memories, tranquil spaces anchored by premium beds topped with the softest of linens. The quiet of the night adds to their serenity, and in some cases, a roaring fire in bedroom fireplaces will add warmth and romance to your nighttime adventures. Televisions may invade the peacefulness of these rooms, because everyone falls asleep in their own ways, and we try to anticipate the needs of all our guests. Seating areas may offer another place to enjoy that first cup of coffee in the morning. En suite baths with soaking tubs or steam showers (and sometimes a combination of both) add luxury to your nights and mornings, with some Park City vacation home rentals offering more than one primary suite, perfect for multiple families traveling together. These rooms are our pride and joy and if you wake up every day realizing that last night’s sleep was the best, we can consider we have done our jobs right.
Amenities at our Park City Vacation Homes
The majority of our Park City Hotels rentals will offer private hot tubs bubbling away on decks that may encompass the entire back of the house. In warmer days, firepits, barbecues, and multiple seating areas may be the most popular spots outside the house and sunsets may be viewed with awe any time of the year. (Just be sure to bundle up warmly during your winter visit and you will be ok!) Laundry rooms, game rooms, theater rooms, and ski storage rooms may be other amenities you will find in these spaces, cementing our dedication to your fun and comfort. Reserve your favorite escape today and start 2024 out on the right note!
