FAQs About Park City Horseback Riding

  • Where can we go horseback riding during our Park City vacation?

The days of the wild west are long past, but you can still experience a little of what they did with a visit to Boulder Mountain Ranch, taking a tour of the trails that run through Park City atop the gentlest of horses. Call (866) 783-5819 for more information about booking a ride.

  • We have kids under the age of 6. Can they ride too?

Unfortunately, the stables in Park City require that children must be at least 6 years of age or older to ride and they don’t allow riders to double up. Some of the stables and ranches do offer pony rides for younger kids, leading them around the corral safely, but if you want to go riding with the kiddos, you may want to plan a return trip when they are older.

  • I’m visiting during the winter, are there any horse experiences I can enjoy?

It might be more than a little too cold to ride horses, but Park City Sleigh Rides offers romantic and festival sleigh rides through the snow, taking visitors from Canyons Resort to Willow Draw. The rides last about 25 minutes and blankets are provided, but winter clothing is highly recommended.

  • Are your Park City Hotels accommodations close to the stables where the horses are?

The great thing about choosing Park City Vacation Rentals is that they can be found everywhere you want to be in Park City. Located close to or on the mountain, near shops and restaurants, and most likely close to many of the stables that are in Park City, visitors will enjoy more times at play and less time fighting traffic.
